Free Books from Birth to Pre-K

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that sends books each month directly to your home until your child’s 5th birthday, for FREE! Enrollment eligibility:

  • Children must be between 0-4 years old

  • Families must live within a participating community

If you live in Alvadore, Blachly, Cheshire, Coburg, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Crow, Deadwood, Dexter, Dorena, Dunes City, Elmira, Eugene, Florence, Junction City, Mapleton, Marcola, Noti, Oakridge, Pleasant Hill, Springfield, Swisshome, Vaughn, Veneta, Walton, Westfir or Westlake you can register using the secure form below.

NEW: Bilingual English/Spanish books every month!

As of June 2025 and with Imagination Library now available for all children across Oregon, we are excited to now offer Bilingual English/Spanish books every month! New families can opt in during the “Language Preferences” step of registration by selecting “Bilingual English/Spanish” in the “Book Language” drop down menu.

For families who are already registered for the program but would like to receive Bilingual English/Spanish books every month, please reach out to your local affiliate to update your preferences. Lane County families can find their local affiliate here.

Register for Audio & Braille

APH and The Dollywood Foundation have collaborated to expand the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) program, providing young children who are blind and low vision with accessible books in print/braille and audio formats ensuring that all DPIL children and families are able to share and enjoy the books they receive.
