Summer play groups, events, and activities for Black/African-American children.
The Black Early Learning program and H.O.N.E.Y., Inc are hosting events throughout the summer. Black Early Learning events are for children ages 0-8 and their siblings, while H.O.N.E.Y. event age ranges vary.

Book Clubs - Black Early Learning

For kids ages 0-8 and their siblings.
Wading Pools - Black Early Learning
July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20 | 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Emerald Park, 1400 Lake Dr, Eugene
For children under 46 inches tall.
Adults are expected to stay in the gated area with children. One adult per child will be covered. Ayanna will pay for entry for families that arrive by 3:30 p.m.
After Wading Pools end at 4:30 p.m., we will be playing at Emerald Park on the playground.
H.O.N.E.Y. Multicultural Enrichment Academy
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., June 23-August 22, 2025. Attendees do not need to attend for the full duration, weekly is ok.
For students entering 1st - 12th grade in the 2025-26 school year.
The cost is $125 per week. There are sliding scale and scholarship options available.

H.O.N.E.Y. is putting on a fundraiser at the Eugene Emeralds game on June 17th! For just a $15 ticket, you can come enjoy an exciting ballgame while $6 from your purchase goes directly in support of H.O.N.E.Y.'s mission. It's a win-win for everyone involved! See you at the ballpark!
